PhaseView's BioPhase® provides an option of repeated observations of the same unstained cell culture over time.

Collecting multiple bright-field images of the same cells, including time-lapse experiments, without staining the cells, avoids disadvantages related to fluorescent staining such as toxic effects of chemical staining, costly chemical staining procedures and phototoxicity.

BioPhase® software and SDK includes functions allowing automatic counting the volume and area of individual cells, for e.g. confluence analysis, colony size, cell-cell adhesion and neurite outgrowth.
